Though we had a number of strong candidates for the April Employee of the Month, the monthly award goes to our extrusion operation Nick Beckwith. Throughout last month, Nick not only did an awesome job running his extrusion line but also worked diligently on cross-training and broadening his skillsets. He has been amazing on not only learning the ins and outs of the new ERP system but also helping his fellow production team members.
Nick truly went above and beyond last month as he made forays into sales, marketing, and company-wide culture initiatives. While one of our customer service support reps was on vacation, Nick volunteered to help out the customer service team which was a huge lift that was felt by the whole sales team. Additionally, when our sales and marketing teams worked on creating product sample boards for our customers, Nick assisted on the production side to get them the needed wire cut samples.
Nick also shared his tracer wire expertise with our marketing division. On his own initiative, Nick wrote an article on the applications of yellow tracer wire.
Lastly, Nick applied his talents and drive on internal culture team initiatives. He has been actively involved in our culture committee and worked with our marketing team to put together our first company-wide internal newsletter. Nick has also been a big contributor on our Wellness Committee.
Nick, your contributions have impacted multiple divisions within the organization. Thank you for all of your hard work!
Honorable employee of the month mentions go out Scott Beckwith, Justin Blakeslee, Jack Cullop, Matt Trinkaus, and Debbie Lee.
