Being available, ready to contribute, and excited to take on challenges helps make good teams championship contenders. It’s an attitude that, if you own it, can completely change the atmosphere in the room, elevating everyone and everything to your level.
Like Leonardo Da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, or Lee De Forest, this month’s winner makes themself available for anything and everything. They meet challenges head-on, find creative solutions to complex problems, and do it all with a positive mindset akin to the greats.
That’s why this month’s winner is David Albright!
It’s one thing to be good at your job, but another to be at the top of your game day in and day out.
David is a cosmic force for the engineering team, pulling out all the stops to make sure Kris-Tech’s migration to a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is smooth and seamless.
“David has consistently displayed exceptional efficiency and speed while curating items and providing an impressive volume of data and feedback to support our ERP efforts,” IT Director Solomon Maricle said. “What sets him apart is not only the quantity but also the quality of his work. His meticulous attention to detail and the high standard of quality maintained throughout the process have significantly impacted the team’s success.”
It’s one thing to constantly pump out great work and keep a strong work ethic, but David adds a little flair to his job, too. His creative thought process highlights another tool in his Batman-esque toolbelt, ultimately leading to better, more engaging data and a truly collaborative atmosphere for any team.
“David has been performing at a high level the last six months but is absolutely hitting his stride now,” said Bob Pagano, VP of Finance. “In addition to his significant individual contributions to the project, he takes the time to ensure all cross-functional teams have an opportunity to learn and grow. David has worked closely with the Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure all products are set up and ready to roll.”
Hard work is great, but it doesn’t mean much if you’re banging your head against a wall.
There is no shortage of large-scale projects at Kris-Tech, but David looks at problems from every angle to find new ways to learn, grow, and attack projects with proactive solutions. It’s especially true of the company’s ongoing ERP initiative.
“Knowing the tight deadline of the project, David has put enormous time into these efforts,” Pagano explained. “His support has not gone unnoticed and is significantly appreciated as we have resources working in all time zones on the project. David has an awesome inquisitive mind; his positive attitude and shared commitment to the project have built trusted relationships.”
Add to this an exceptional commitment to excellence, which allows David to move quickly and accurately to keep things moving across every single one of his job duties, and it’s easy to see what sets up for success.
“David exemplifies the ideal blend of speed, accuracy, and personality. He and the engineering team’s contributions have been invaluable, and there is no doubt their dedication will continue benefiting the entire team,” Maricle said.
