On race day, we all see the winning driver cross the finish line, get out of their car, and triumphantly wave the checkered flag.

But while the driver gets the face time, far fewer people see the supporting team making that win possible. Fans don’t see the mechanics pulling an all-nighter in the garage to fix the powertrain after the driver slammed the wall late in practice the day before qualifying.

They may see the pit crew move quickly to change tires and give the car a splash of fuel late in the race but don’t see the months of practice and years of preparation to make it look so seamless.

Speeding to the Front

You might be asking yourself, what does racing have to do with Kris-Tech? The way a race team runs lines up closely with our daily life, to be honest. While it’s not a direct analogy, October’s Employee of the Month is the ultimate driver/mechanic. Not only do they keep the car clean, but they can also turn a wrench when needed.

While their more visible sales role is obvious to the company, their behind-the-scenes work sets them apart. As an influential member of Kris-Tech’s inside sales team, this individual serves their customers with the level of support and responsiveness we pride ourselves on at KT.

We’re excited to announce East Coast Inside Sales Representative Nadine Almond is October’s Employee of the Month!

Increasing Kris-Tech’s Horsepower

Beyond Nadine’s sales role, she plays a considerable role on the company’s ERP team, using her talents to quickly absorb the new system and test features.

“Nadine has been the most prolific user of the new ERP, identifying and documenting issues and working closely with the internal and external teams for resolution,” Sales Direction Aaron Reighard explained. “As we continue to build out our needs and test cases, she has spearheaded the effort to capture our work instructions and validate their effectiveness with other team members.”

During ERP testing, Nadine captures updated documentation that will serve as the basis for future training once the new system is introduced to the larger team. Additionally, her calm, comforting demeanor makes her the perfect person to teach the system to others as they start getting their feet wet.

Celebrating All Our Nominees

Nadine was October’s big winner, but she was joined by several other deserving nominees, including:
