Our September employee of the month is none other than our Sales Team Leader Nicole Palkovic. Nicole’s leadership has been an invaluable addition to the leadership of our whole organization. In the spirit of winning together, Nicole takes on any role that she sees a gap in and flexes accordingly to ensure we get the job done. Taking this one step further Nicole acts as the liaison for sales, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Scheduling to give us eyes and ears in the production processes. Additionally, Nicole works collaboratively with Shipping to ensure we are getting critical customer commitments fulfilled.
Nicole has been instrumental in our tray cable product launch as well as her continued leadership with the Customer Service & Inside Sales Team. A major, tangible, initiative Nicole helped accomplish in September is the tray cable ERP systems build out. This not only positively impacted the sales team and our customers but created efficiencies across the organization from Operations to Finance. John Olguin, our Tray Cable Product Line Managers, shared that Nicole wears many hats and during our Tray Cable product launch Nicole has been someone that he can lean on.
Additionally, the weekly inside sales meetings led by Nicole, have continued to get better and better and everyone shows up, ready to share what they’ve got going on. This creates a platform for continuous improvement and fosters collaboration among the team. Lastly, Kat Carver, our West Coast Inside Sales Team Member, shared that Nicole is “consummate mother to all of us: constantly lifting us up when we are down, caring unconditionally, telling us to hang in there and eat our vegetables in and be in bed by 10pm 😊.”
In sum, Nicole consistently leads by example and commits to excellence on a daily basis. Congrats Nicole!
